In a new interview, Anu Malik described brothers Daboo and Abu as “pieces of his heart” and nephews Amaal and Armaan Mallik as his “jaan,” dismissing any suggestion of broken bonds. He explained that the family’s fiery temperament is sometimes mistaken for division, insisting instead, “we were one, are one, and will remain one.” His response sought to close the gap between public perception and personal reality, framing the family as emotionally intense but unshaken in loyalty.
